I thought Macs were touted as bullet-proof and flawless? Perhaps not so true?

Well, I must say it feels pretty good to be back at CTU. They got this woman from Homeland Security running the show now. Her name is Karen Hayes. I think she's starting to get a little too comfortable around here though.
A perfect example: Bill, Curtis, Chloe and I were being debriefed in the situation room, and she just casually started dropping N-bombs. At first I thought I was hearing things. Curtis looked like his ass had been hit by a bolt of lightning. He just sat there with his mouth halfway open; eyes fixed on Karen like a hawk. I shot Chloe a look and she just mouthed the words 'I know'. I looked over at Bill who had shrunk down in his seat uncomfortably and had an 'oh shit' look on his face. Curtis started to make a move for his side, and I thought he was going for his weapon. Instead he pulled out a bottle of aspirin and popped a few.
To be honest, I was surprised Curtis had managed to keep his cool, because I've seen him flip out for a lot less in the past. Remember that time he punched Mandy in the face? Well, it gets much worse. When nobody was looking he threw her ass down a flight of stairs. She ended up with a concussion and a shattered hip. It took three men to restrain him. Even after they calmed him down and stripped him of his gun, he went after her with a shank he had hidden in his sock. That's the real reason we got her to play ball. We were gonna let him loose if she didn't take the deal.
Anyways, after the meeting I needed to make sure Curtis wasn't gonna pull another Mandy. He told me he was okay, and I said I would tell Karen to cool it with the racial slurs. We were looking at blueprints for Victor Milana's Loft when Karen came over asking for some of Curtis's aspirin. She took a couple and handed the bottle back, but not before mentioning that he forgot to pick the cotton out. Thirty minutes later there was a betting pool on her ETD (estimated time of death).
