Allison and I are trying to get Emma more accustomed to using her fork to eat dinner. Tonight, she would NOT eat anything...until we handed her the fork (which is of course a special, child-safe fork). Immediately, she began eating, completely fuss-free.
However, the choice of food was untimely: Ravioli. Needless to say, and as seen in the picture above, about 18% of the sauce went into her mouth...the rest is ON her mouth, on her hands, on the floor, in Belle's (our dog) hair, on her arms, and up her nose.
And the whole time, she's absolutely BEAMING because she's so proud of herself for eating with a fork.

Love it! Those moments are great...even makes the clean up worth it.
She could really use an occupational therapist to help her out with that fork-handling maneuver. Send her to chez Meredith pronto!
